Human skull drawing in charcoal pencil on fine art paper. Part of the magic of this image was the technique used to create the photograph I worked from. I built a dark box especially for this project which allowed me to control light and shadow, then photographed the skull reflected in a black mirror. That gave me the dramatic shadows which highlighted the unique features of this particular skull.
Dimensions are ; 16" x 16" frame size. Drawn area 12" x 12".
Comes in an oak frame with off white mount and high quality acrylic glazing so it is safe to ship. Additional images show the work in progress and my signature.
